Enabling or Disabling the Global Cache Local Intel Feed

Use the commands in this topic to enable or disable Global Cache local feeds on an appliance with a one-way sharing Content Updates license.

NOTE: The Global Cache local feed is enabled by default.

To enable the Global Cache local intel feed:

  1. Go to CLI configuration mode.
    hostname > enable
    hostname # configure terminal
  2. Enable the feed:
    hostname (config) # analysis gc-feed enable
  3. Verify your change:
    hostname (config) # show analyis file-policy
  4. Save your change:
    hostname (config) # write memory

To disable the Global Cache local intel feed:

  1. Go to CLI configuration mode.
    hostname > enable
    hostname # configure terminal
  2. Enable global cache feed:
    hostname (config) # no analysis gc-feed enable
  3. Verify your change:
    hostname (config) # show analyis file-policy
  4. Save your change:
    hostname (config) # write memory

Example

The following example enables the Global Cache local intel feed.

hostname (config) # analysis gc-feed enable
hostname (config) # show analysis file-policy
    Intel Feed Global Cache:              yes
