Enabling or Disabling Riskware Detection

You can enable or disable riskware detection by using the Malware Analysis appliance CLI:

When you enable riskware detection, you can distinguish between malicious files and riskware on the Malware Analysis appliance. After you have configured the Malware Analysis appliance to detect riskware, you can view the analysis results on the Alerts > Riskware page in the Web UI.

The riskware detection feature is disabled by default.

Prerequisites

• Administrator or Operator access to the Malware Analysis appliance
• An established connection to the Internet
• A connection to the DTI Cloud
